Mitcham is the old village at the foot of the hills on Belair Road, with Mitcham Square, Brown Hill Creek and the council area spreading up into Belair, Blackwood and Eden Hills. It is about 25 km from Albert Park and roughly 30 km from Seaford Meadows.
